Three questions will be physical and three questions will be human This section assesses your depth of knowledge and understanding over unit 1. These are longer essay questions. You must choose one question from the the following 4 themes: 1) Hazard, 2) Global Warming, 3) Globalisation, 4) Cities and Migration

Unit 3 Examination: Contested Planet (Worth 60%)

This section consists of five questions about the topics in unit 3. You have to select two of these questions. Each question has two parts worth 25 marks in total. This section is based on a pre released resource booklet designed to draw all of the course themes together. It consists of one compulsory question in three parts.

Unit 4 Examination: Geographical Research (Worth 40%)

Details
Unit 4 develops your research skills and provides vital practise for university life. Four weeks before the exam two of the six themes will be identified for you to research. An open essay question will draw from these two themes.

Marks: 70
