Physical Education - Key Stage 3

Students are taught and assessed within the four strands that comprise our PE Programme. These are:

  • Acquiring and developing skills
  • Selecting and applying skills, tactics and compositional ideas
  • Evaluating and improving their own and others' performance
  • Building knowledge and understanding of fitness and health

Key Stage 3 lessons consist of 2 lessons of 60 minute per week. The curriculum covers a wide variety of activities and has a balance of swimming, team and individually based activities. Each block of work will last approximately 4 school weeks.
